T40H-rail decorative traverse rod. Quality aluminum track at a value price. This curtain track set is a heavy duty 1 1/2", with ball bearing carriers and decorative brackets. For the smaller 1 1/8" diameter rod with slides, see the Tekno 25.
Ball bearing carriers are typically used with pleated draperies or curtains with pin hooks
Track is rated at 4 lbs per foot; for example, a 10 ft. track will hold a maximum of 40 lbs
Includes your choice of finials, decorative wall or concealed ceiling mount brackets, slides (3 1/2 per foot for ball bearing carriers or 4 per foot for swivel slides & swivel slides w/ attached hook) and two white batons. If Wavefold carriers are selected, you will receive the following quantities. This will often be more than required. Cut the string to remove the excess.

Since this is a baton draw, you can use one panel as a one-way draw, two panels as a split draw or multiple panels and draw them any direction desired.

I bought the ball bearing carriers for my curtain rod. Unfortunately, they are made of plastic and several of the little wheels have broken apart inside the track after it was attached to the wall. I had to either take the whole rod down and take it apart, or figure out how to remove the ends with it still on the wall. I managed to use a screw driver to open up the end enough to slide most of the carriers off the end until I could get the broken ones off, and then put the good ones back on and reassemble the end of the rod. I’m scared there will be more broken ones because they are very hard to slide across the rod. I have used similar rods in the past, but the carriers were metal and I had no problem.
In rare instances, UPS will give the package such a rough ride that some of the ball bearing carriers will break. In that case, it is best to slide all carriers out of the track and remove and replace any that are broken. We have never heard of them breaking under normal use and they are the standard of the industry for commercial track systems.
Well built and very nice looking for the money . I wish they would have giving some extra clips that you hang the curtains and I’d the wold have had ball bearings on it would be much better . O owning it is fairly smooth but closing it is not !
